Bonifacio Global City offers a unique experience to everyone, from it’s collection of contemporary art, sprawling fauna, daunting urban landscape and the myriad of cultures that live and thrive in this location.

One of the beauties of having so many people from different places is that diversity is increased, and if you’re looking for new BGC restaurants to visit, there are always more than a couple that benefit from and push diversity onto higher levels.

Do you want some good old Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders or maybe some of their yummy Mac and Cheese? Or perhaps you want to enjoy some other American-European fusion of comfort food. If so, Fireside by Kettle is opening at the Ground Floor, Central Square, 5th Avenue at the corner of 30th Street.

Kettle is famous for their infusion of international and American dishes, and it’s great news to know that they also maintain specialty restaurants called Fireside, where their signature dishes are cooked as the name implies, on a wood fire grill.

They make great Truffle Potato Chips, and if you went something unique you can try out their Mascarpone Cheesecake with their sweet and savory cheesecake dip, arugula, sweet tomato jam and croutons.

210° Kitchen + Drinkery or 210 Degrees Kitchen and Drinkery is a good contender in the top 10 new BGC restaurants to visit this year and it’s here for a number of reasons.

Their French-inspired dishes are a delight to the palette. The king of the kitchen is William Mahi – who has two Michelin stars to his name. Some of their bestsellers include a salmon marinated for 36-hours, Pan Fried Duck Liver, and the entrecôte.

Char Dining serves a fusion of Singaporean-Cantonese cuisine. From the moment you step in, this place will give off a sleek contemporary vibe. Everything looks clean cut and the place is well lit.

If you’re dining in for the first time, make sure you try the Char Siew and/or the triple roast platter. If you like prawns don’t miss out on the prawn paste fried chicken wings and aubergine with prawn paste.

Ping Pong diplomacy refers to the thawing of ties between China and the United States by sending ping pong players to each other.

Before launching into a full history lesson, the only thing that Ping Pong Diplomacy has in common with that process are its fusion between East and West. Even the interiors of the restaurant look like a cross between the two sides.

Try a combination of Chinese and American as you taste the goodness of dishes such as the Typhoon Shelter Grilled Prawns. Caveman Beef Rib and the 5-spice Steak and Eggs.

Indeed you guessed it, Tai Koo Roast is all about Cantonese-style roast dishes and if you are craving for some Chinese food, this is a great place to check out.

Located at ground floor of One World Square in Upper McKinley Road, this place is a must for those roast duck cravings we seem to get every now and then.

The place looks like a no nonsense fast food joint, eager to appeal to your tummy rather than your eyes. Try the Char Siu and pair it with some dimsum and of course some roast. They even have combination meals, as this place tries it best to impress you with its take on Chinese cuisine.

According to them, their duck is flown in from Hong Kong and roasted daily in their restaurant. A claim that makes them seem very eager into proving their yumminess.

More often than not, we tend to consume more than the normal person’s intake of junk fast food. Thank goodness there are places like Wok2GO which serve healthy fast food – two concepts that aren’t usually present in our meals today.

They are located on the second floor of the Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Hill, and though it’s designed as a stall, the place can accommodate people dining-in.

The theme is simple: rice boxes filled with healthy nutrients. Pick your sauce, your fiber and finally your meat. Customized fast food with a focus on your health is their objective and it’s certainly an objective that’s coming to life.

Only a few rice box options in the metro offer an enticing healthy alternative. If you don’t feel like rice, they also offer noodles or mixed vegetables instead.

UCC Clockwork is opening a new branch in Uptown Place Mall. For those unfamiliar with the brand, it is a spinoff from our favorite coffee people at UCC.

Whilst UCC maintains cafes and bistros for you to enjoy some bites while you have coffee, their Clockwork line caters to customers coming in to have real meals.

As with all UCC stores, you’ll find an extensive coffee menu detailing their many ways of brewing a cup of joe.

There are two things you have to know about FOO’D by Davide Oldani are: it is excellent and they are located at the Shangri-La Hotel at the Fort on 30th Street.

From their interiors that give off that sophisticated vibe to their head, David Oldani.

Their three-course menu starts at P800 and they also have a fully upgraded one for P3,000. Give your tastebuds a treat as you dive into contemporary Italian-themed cuisine.
