There is nothing like extreme sports to round out a fun and relaxing trip. The Camsur Water Park has everything an adrenaline junkie would enjoy. There is wake boarding, water skiing, water skating, and more. The great thing about this first-class water park is that it caters to both beginners and professionals.

What You Need to Know:There are a lot of activities apart from the water sports like swimming, massages, and eating. Make sure to bring a valid ID and extra money as there are many activities to do. It’s good to make sure you have leeway in the budget.

2.Consocep Mountain Resort

This mountain resort is a trekker’s dream as there is lush foliage and three awesome falls nearby. The resort is located at Mt. Isarog National park and features Kawa-Kawa Falls, Tumaguiti Falls, and Bulalacao Falls. The trek may take a while but the sceneries are worth the effort.

What You Need to Know:It isn’t advisable to bring small children as the trek is quite long. Also, make sure to bring water and insect repellent for the trek.

3. Mt. Isarog National Park

You can rappel the side of a waterfall or a cliff to get a different perspective of these natural land form beauties. You must first hike to an elevation of 2,500 feet above sea level before rappelling five waterfalls, and jumping down two cliffs.

4.Itbog Twin Falls

The Philippine Islands are full of natural wonders and the Itbog Twin Falls is one of them. The crystal clear water falls from a cliff that is covered in lush greenery. The 60-foot falls are side-by-side and provide a picturesque site to the forest background. The water is spring water from the top of Mt. Isarog.

What You Need to Know:You can have a picnic at the falls as long as you clean after yourselves. Make sure to be prepared to take a hike as that is the only way you will reach the falls.

5.Haciendas De Naga Resort

Nestled in the city of Naga, this destination resort is full of fun activities, relaxation, and boasts the only championship golf course in Naga City and it is accredited by the National Golf Association of the Philippines. While they have great resorts facilities, they also have an Adventure Park, a Zoofari, a nature park, and even a wave pool.

What You Need to Know:There are a lot of activities to do so it is advisable to keep an open itinerary. They have hotel villas and cabanas to rent out but rates do go higher on weekends, holidays, and peak season.

6.Sabang Beach

The sparkling blue waters and white sand beaches of Sabang are a slice of paradise. The weather is generally sunny and the seascape is breathtaking. The beach may be the main feature but you can even go to the Old Moro watchtower nearby. Here you get to see a glimpse of the Mayon Volcano. From Manila, take a flight to Naga. There are also buses that do daily trips to and from Naga as well. From there take a cab or rent a car to Sabang Partido.

What You Need to Know:While the beach is great for relaxing and swimming, the beach is known for amateur kayaking and surfing.

7.Basilica of Our Lady of Penafrancia

The Basilica’s main feature is Our Lady of Penafrancia, which is a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary that originated from Salamanca, Spain. There is even a nine-day festivity in September in honor of the statue, also known as the Patroness of Bicol. Apart from this, the basilica facade is a sight to behold as it is distinctly neoclassical.

What You Need to Know: The statue of the Virgin Mary was sculpted in 1710 and is believed to have powers to help those in need. There is also daily early morning masses for those who want to attend them.

8. The Caramoan Islands

Caramoan Islands is located in the lower eastern part of Camarines Sur. It’s a first-class municipality in the Bicol Region and is a rugged place of land that extends into the Maqueda Channel and the Lagonoy gulf. There is a 4,000 hectare limestone forest that is full of lush foliage and flora.

What You Need to Know: Island and beach hopping is the most popular activity next to spelunking, snorkeling, swimming, and camping. There is also the Mt. Caglago trek where you can get a 360 view of the islands.

9 & 10.Panicuason Hot Springs & Adventure Park

This tourist favorite is full of relaxation and fun activities fit for a group of friends or for family. They boast natural hot and cold springs that can help you de-stress and relax as you take in the beautiful surroundings. If adrenaline pumping activities are your thing, there is a zip line, a bike zip line, and Tarzan Swing, and more.

Location: Panicuason, Naga City
Operation Hours: 24 hours daily(there are overnight stays)
Fees: PHP 200 (adult), PHP 160 (students and senior citizens), and PHP 100 (children). There are separate rates for the Adventure Park as it depends on the activities you will do.
What You Need to Know:There are room and cottages available in the complex so you can stay for more than a day to get a full experience of the park. Best to bring extra money, and some of your own food and water just in case.
