But one of our favorite versions is Manam’s Watermelon Sinigang (PHP245) which comes with sliced watermelon that adds a refreshing sweetness to the broth.

Where to eat: Despite being around for a couple of years now, Mendokoro Ramenba still gets packed -- once you try it, you’ll understand why. Make sure to order their Shoyu (PHP410) or Tantanmen (PHP440) and pair it with an order of gyoza.

A grilled cheese sandwich might be the oddball on this list, but who doesn’t like melty cheese? What’s best is you don’t need any sort of culinary skill to perfect a sandwich. Pair it with a hot bowl of tomato soup and you’re all set for the rainy weather. Where to eat: Melt’s Classic Grilled Cheese (PHP290) is made with their house blend mozzarella and cheddar cheese, melted between generously buttered sourdough or black brioche buns. Sounds good?
