Super Nintendo World Japan will feature the infamous piranha plants, brick blocks, and the bright green turf. In fact, a teaser of the upcoming park was recently released showing a Japanese family being welcomed by Super Mario. He collects coins, runs through tunnels and showcases a number of attractions - many of which we hope are part of the final product itself.

During the ground breaking ceremony, Nintendo executives shared that the park would be unlike any other and would make guests feel like they were part of one huge Super Mario game. The park would provide an immersive experience with "attractions, retail and restaurants".

They went on to reveal that one attraction that was currently being worked on was the Super Mario Kart experience - "an attraction unlike any other that the world has seen". Using cutting- edge technology, the ride is something that a lot of Super Mario Brothers fans is looking forward to. Apart from jaw-dropping Super Mario rides and attractions, there will be Donkey Kong rides too. All definitely something to look forward to in 2020. Construction has been on overdrive as of late as they hope to finish before the 2020 Olympics - which is to be held in Japan, as well. Here's to hoping that it does and that all our Super Mario Brother games truly do come to life! What are you waiting for? Start planning for your trip to Japan.
