Japan is the king of vending machines, you’ll find them everywhere from train stations to random alleyways in the middle of nowhere.

On top of the typical soda and chips, the Japanese — known for their love of useful and wacky inventions — have managed to make it possible to dispense anything from underwear to bowls of ramen.

Here are some of the most interesting things you can find in a Japanese vending machine:
