In partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), Traveloka has joined in the initiative to promote accredited farm tourism sites located around the Philippines. This initiative aims to raise awareness on the importance of agriculture and to teach young people about farming and how it can be a form of entrepreneurship.
These sites provide sustainable tourism and are aimed to provide an environment-friendly space where visitors can enjoy and learn about the benefits of agricultural business and tourism. Looking for a one-of-a-kind experience? Try these accredited farm tourism sites in Cavite:
This farm was established with the vision of “having a place to enjoy God’s creations.” Owned by Mr. Balgamel Crooc and Mrs. Amy Crooc, this agri-tourism site features post-harvest products, charming facilities, and is an official learning site for agriculture.
This 1.5-hectare farm used to be an unattended jungle in 2011, but with the passion and perseverance of its owners, they were able to turn it into a sanctuary for natural produce to flourish and a place where they can make people aware of the importance of and the enjoyment in farming.
The farm offers farming activities and training. It can also be booked as a venue for events like weddings and team-building seminars and has several lodging options available.
The farm makes use of several farm technologies like hydroponics. The main selling point of the business is post-harvest processing, which allows them to have saleable produce of seasonal fruits. They also have a pick-and-pay offer from the 22 types of fruits planted in the farm like lanka, rambutan, and lanzones.

With over 9 hectares of land, it’s an absolute sight to behold! Gorgeous Farm owner Thelma Murillo states that the farm advocates organic and natural farming, and encourages people to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Ms. Murillo also joins the initiative on encouraging more people to take part in agriculture, saying, “We want to promote that agriculture is sexy. Farming is sexy.”
After visiting the farm, have a meal at Wild Juan, which serves tasty dishes made from organic products from the farm.
If you wish to stay overnight, Wild Juan also has charming accommodations. The Wild Juan Bed & Breakfast Inn has single rooms and family rooms with rates for as low as P3,500 and P5,575, respectively.

The 9-hectare property has a hotel, a restaurant, a miniature rice field, as well as a convention center, making it a prime tourism site in itself.
With the P400 entrance fee, you can already access the farm’s amenities and experience the many activities it has to offer, like their Farmville project, which allows people to experience real-time farming even from the comforts of their home. Visitors can buy a section of land, plant in them, and harvest their own vegetables.

In addition to all that, the farm has agricultural training programs and hosts school activities that teach students about sustainable living through farming.
The owner of WIN Farm Mr. Emmanuel Fernandez stresses the importance of combining business and agriculture. He says, “It is not true that there is no money in farming. There is money in farming but you have to put technology, science, and business (together). We have to be like an entrepreneur.”
