  • Visa-free travel for Filipinos is set to expire in July. No news about whether it will be extended yet, so if you can, there’s no better time to visit the country than now. 
  • Taiwan’s public transport system is incredibly efficient, so be sure to purchase an EasyCard. You can use it for everything from the MRT, Youbikes, to paying for items at convenience stores and supermarkets.

  • Opened in 1979
  • Located 40 km west of Taipei, in Dayuan District, Taoyuan
  • Considered Taiwan’s largest and busiest airport
  • Terminal 1 is the original passenger terminal
  • Currently has 18 gates
  • Accommodates over 15 million passengers a year
  • Terminal 2 opened in 2000, featuring 40 gates divided into South Concourse and North Concourse
  • A free shuttle bus can be used to go from Terminal 1 and 2
  • The Skytrain can be used to travel between terminals
