New Restaurants In Makati: Where To Go In Poblacion

Wok By 4900

Night owls will surely love this place. Serving a mix of Asian and Western cuisine, Wok By 4900's top-selling items are the Korea, Manila and Classic Mongolian Bowl. The Korea bowl entails fried rice mixed with kimchi, squid, chicken, mushrooms, and fried egg on top. The Manila Bowl haspork and chicken adobo, garnished with crispy chicharon and garlic. Meanwhile, the Classic Mongolian Bowl has noodles and rice withtofu, bean sprout, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, string beans, cabbage, young corn, spring onion, bell pepper, chicken, and beef! Everything topped with a distinct Mongolian sauce.Located at 4900 Durban Street, Wok By is open every day. From Monday to Thursday, serving starts at 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the place opens at 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Meanwhile, Wok By operates from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. every Sunday.

Lobo

Lobo Filipino Tavern boasts of classic Filipino architecture and flavors partnered with modern dishes like lamb adobo, sizzling bulalo, pork sisig nachos, and squid ink pasta.From Monday to Saturday, Lobo opens at 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. It sits at 4898 Durban Street. House of Joe

House of Joe is a homegrown bar famous for its craft beer.Their must-try drinks are the Fish Rider Pale Ale, Sierra Madre Wheat Pale, and Soothsayer Pale Ave. The Fish Rider is a strong and flavorful beer, with a rich copper color and a discrete citrus aroma. Meaning "hurry up!", Yalla Yalla allegedly sells thebest authentic Lebanese cuisine. With bestsellers like theirbeef shawarma, shishtaouk, and the Lebanese burger, customers are definitely in for a treat. It is located at 5652 Don Pedro Street, and opens6 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. For other days of the week, it operates from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Oto

Enjoy booze and beats in this hip hangout. A craft cocktail room, coffee shop, and a music lounge, Oto is definitely an all-in-one recreational spot.From Monday to Sunday, Oto serves at 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. It sits at 5880 Enriquez Street.

The Smokeyard

The brainchild of Troy Conine, an internationally-trained pitmaster, Smokeyard serves low and slow smoked meats. Menu includes pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork, beef ribs, grilled sausages, and chicken. This classic American BBQ joint is located at 5666 Don pedro Street. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday starting 12 noon to 12 midnight. By the way, pets are allowed inside.

Hogs & Cattle Steakhouse
