Nawawalang Paraiso Resort Phase 1

The 32-year-old resort is a favorite in Tayabas, Quezon, and it’s not hard to see why. The three-star hotel is nestled at the foot of Mount Banahaw, and is near several Tayabas landmarks.

Why here? Its proximity to Tayabas landmarks makes it perfect for sightseeing, but the resort itself has many things to do: there’s an adult and kiddie pool, a volleyball court, a camping area, and a playground for kids and the young at heart.

Rates. Room rates start at P4500, but rates are subject to change depending on availability.

Graceland Estates and Country Club

There’s a putting green, paddle boating, and even horseback riding. If you’re the type of barkada looking to do “nothing at all”, watch out for the resort’s native deer herd, or you can take a walk amongst the  resorts private collection of US military jeeps.

Rates. You can book a villa for four at P7500, inclusive of breakfast. But if you’re a Traveloka member or mobile app user, you get an additional 10 percent discount.

Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center

Just an hour and a half drive from Laoag, Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center is right on the shores of Pagudpud’s Blue Lagoon.

Why here? Lounging around on Pagudpud’s powdery white sand is a given. But if your barkada is looking for something to get the adrenaline pumping, try out the resort’s 12 kilometer zipline. If hurtling down a zipline at 80 kilometers per hour doesn’t get your blood flowing, nothing will.

Vitalis White Sands

If the barkada is looking for a luxury outing in Ilocos Sur but on a leaner budget, check out the three-star Vitalis White Sands. Situated right beside the sea and near a local fishing village, the hotel promises that guests will be taken back to “a simpler way of life”.

Why here? Vitalis White Sands is literally just a few steps from the sea, so a barkada looking to soak up the sun doesn’t have very far to go. But if there’s more on the agenda than tanning, the hotel has jetskis, kayaks, pedal boats, and banana boats for everyone.
