For seven consecutive years, Singapore’s Changi Airport has topped the list of the best airports in the world. The Skytrax Awards evaluated the airports based on operational efficiency and passenger feedback.
The list was announced during the recently concluded awards ceremony at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2019 in London.
Here’s the top 10 highest rankings for best airports in the world:
|1||Changi Airport Singapore||Singapore|
|3||Incheon International Airport||South Korea|
|4||Hamad International Airport||Qatar|
|5||Hong Kong International Airport||Hong Kong|
|6||Chubu Centrair International Airport||Japan|
|7||Munich International Airport||Germany|
|8||Heathrow Airport||United Kingdom|
|9||Narita International Airport||Japan|
It will be quite difficult to take the top spot from Singapore’s travel hub. In fact, a new addition called the “Jewel Changi Airport” will open its doors to the public on April 7. It is a 130,000 square-meter complex with shopping outlets, gardens, and more.
