Located right on Baguio’s Session Road, the 3-star Hotel Veniz is a perfect base of operations if you’re looking to explore Baguio.
Why here? It’s less than a kilometer away from Burnham Park and the Baguio Cathedral, so it’s easy for you to plan your itinerary for the day. With just 50 air-conditioned rooms, you won’t find yourself crowded in when you have your breakfast in the morning.

This 4-star Puerto Princesa Hotel is managed by Hospitality Innovators, Inc. It’s a 15-minute drive from the Puerto Princesa International Airport, so you don’t have to take a long ride to get some relaxation.
Why here? It’s got a rooftop pool with colorful terrazzo tile flooring, and it’s Matiz Restaurant and Tapas Bar feature not just local recipes, but those from Spain, America, and Vietnam as well. Plus, its deluxe, suite, and family rooms are all done up in chic and colorful designs.
Rates. Room rates start at P3800, inclusive of breakfast. However, they have an early bird promo going on that gets you a 15% discount if you book 21 days in advance. That means you can get the same room for only P3230.
3. I’M Hotel
Poblacion’s 5-star I’M Hotel certainly made the most buzz when it opened. Not only does it have an infinity pool with a see-through acrylic bottom, it’s also home to the Onsen Spa.
Why here? The Onsen Spa is pretty hard to beat, as it has two onsen pools, a sauna, a steam room, a tea lounge, and spa suites. It’s a relaxing staycation right in the midst of Makati’s busy streets, topped off with a Japanese lunch or dinner buffet that is part of the treatment.
Rates. Room rates start at P9000. However, they’re running a 40% limited time promo until the end of the year, so you can book a room here at only P5130.
Less than a kilometer away from Session Road, the VYBE Travellers Pad is a great choice if you’re looking for accommodations that have a more homey feel.
Why here? They offer fully furnished serviced apartments, so you feel like you’re going home after touring nearby attractions like the Baguio Botanical Garden and the Baguio Cathedral.
Rates. The hotel has different rates for the weekend and on weekdays. During the weekends, room rates start at P5500, inclusive of breakfast. If you’re staying during the weekday, room rates start at P5000, also inclusive of breakfast.

This 4-star hotel is a seven minute walk from Ilig-Iligan Beach, but even if you never venture down there you’ll have a great time at the Savoy.
Why here? The Savoy has beautifully appointed rooms. It’s also got a pool and a party pool, as well as a paved sunbathing lounge. The Savoy will also be happy to arrange island tours for you.
Rates. If you’re booking a Deluxe Room at the Savoy, they have Local Resident Rates until August 30. That means a Deluxe Room with breakfast that usually costs P5900 can be booked for only P4500. If you don’t have any free time this August, the Savoy also has an Early Bird promo. Book 60 days in advance and you get 25% off. You can get a room that usually costs P6950 for only P5212, and that includes breakfast!
Puerto Princesa’s Sheridan Organic Farm and Ecovillage is a 3-star hotel where the environment is the main focus.
Why here? Its dormitory rooms are perfect if you’re backpacking or traveling on a lean budget, while its villas are perfect if you’re looking for more privacy. But the hotel’s best draw is that it’s less than 30 minutes away from the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
Rates. Rates at the dormitory are at P1500 per bed, while you can book the villa for P4500.
The 3-star Eurotel Vivaldi in Quezon City is perfect for the businessman on a budget.
Why here? It’s less than a kilometer away from the Araneta Center Cubao MRT station, so you can head to most places in the metro you may have business dealings in. If you’re looking to take a break or catch a show, the entirety of the Araneta Center is just a short walk away.
Rates. Rates start at P2400, inclusive of breakfast. However, for the whole month of August you can get a 30% discount. That means you can book the same room at only P1596.
