  • Ride only on the boats that are leaving the terminals. Never believe it when someone offers you to get a private boat because the boats are not running.
  • There is a terminal fee at the Batangas Pier and an environmental fee upon arrival in Puerto Galera.
  • Protect your feet from sea urchins and wear aqua shoes or other form of protective covering when going into the waters.

HOW TO GO TO PUERTO GALERA


  • By Air

    There is no airport in Puerto Galera. The nearest is Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay.

  • By Land

    A combination of land and sea travel is the best way to go. There are many bus companies from Manila plying to Batangas Pier, where you will catch a ferry going to Puerto Galera.

  • By Sea

    When in Batangas Pier, proceed to Terminal 3 to purchase a ticket. Pick the ferry that will drop you off on where your Puerto Galera resort is located. The four entry points include White Beach, Sabang Pier, Muelle Pier and Balatero Pier.
