Citic Hotel Review: Boracay’s Luxurious Home for Like-Minded Travelers

Situated in Station 1 in Boracay and a few minutes’ walk to the breathtaking white-sand beach and the calm crystal-clear waters, Citic Boracay is a premier four-star hotel built to be every traveler’s home away from home.

“Citic” is a portmanteau of the family names behind the establishment, a group of individuals dedicated to enriching the country’s tourism industry and showcasing the Filipino culture to the rest of the world. With this goal in mind, the group was able to develop a one-of-a-kind destination for like-minded travelers.

What You’ll Love

While Boracay might be teeming with luxury resorts and beautiful boutique hotels, what makes Citic Hotel different is the thought that goes behind every little detail. From their posh and modern rooms to their friendly staff and mouthwatering food options—you’ll find more than one reason to book your stay here.

The Food

One of the things that could make or break a vacation is the food. With that in mind, the F&B team—headed by a seasoned Belgian Chef—created multiple offerings that promise to transform an ordinary meal into an unforgettable culinary experience.

Citic Hotel Restaurant

  • Main Restaurant – From the moment they wake up, guests can head over to the hotel’s Main Restaurant where they will be treated to a generous buffet spread. They can find local favorites such as silogs and dried fish, as well as international comfort food like bacon and pancakes. The casual restaurant starts serving at 6 AM and closes its doors at 10 PM. A dinner buffet is also served daily, while an à la carte menu is available throughout the day.
  • The Grill – The Grill offers only the freshest catch and choice cuts of meat carefully prepared by their experienced chefs. Here, guests can enjoy the laid-back Boracay vibe and a delicious fusion of the land and sea.

Guests can also order refreshing drinks and cocktails at the Pool Bar or light snacks and coffee from the Lobby Lounge.

The Location

The hotel is located along Station 1, one of the prime areas of the island. It’s just steps away from the water and about 500 meters away from popular Diniwid Beach. From the property, guests can easily get to places of interest such as Mount Luho, Bulabog Beach, and Willy’s Rock. The hotel also provides shuttle services for free.
