What is VOLO Festival

This summer, the first edition Volo Festival unites hip-hop enthusiasts and tourists alike to a showcase of urban culture. The 2019 Volo Festival will be happening on April 13-14 at Vana Nava Water Jungle, Asia’s first water jungle, in Hua Hin district. Expect nothing short of music, fashion, art, and food here in Southeast Asia’s largest hip-hop festival.

How to get there

The festival will kick off at Vana Nava Water Jungle in Thailand’s thriving Hua Hin District, Thailand. If you're coming from Manila, you can take a flight to Bangkok. There are daily direct flights from local airlines including Philippine Airlines. Other international air carrier options include Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, and Jetstar. From Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, you can travel to Hua Hin via bus, train, or express train depending on your budget and preference.

What to expect

Shout out to hip hop heads/enthusiasts. Clear your weekend this April 13 to 14 and dig into the festival’s huge debut party with the big shot American rapper A$AP Rocky top billing the event. Another global hip hop figure headlining the event is 2 Chainz. Rocky is the frontman of A$AP Mob and has collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Skrillex, Rihanna to name a few. Other confirmed regional artists to join them in the spotlight are Asian-American artist Daboyway, Thai artists Pok Mindset & Double P, eclectic hip-hop/rapper Youngohm, FIIXD, Younggu, Diamond, Young Bong, and Gavin Duval.
