10 Waterparks Near Manila Perfect for a Splashing Good Time

If you find yourself drenched in sweat and constantly craving ice cream, then you know summer is definitely here. What better way to cool than with a dip in a pool – but why not take it up a notch and head over to one or all of these waterparks near Manila? Pack up the van and gather your loved ones, you’re in for a splashing good time!

1. Amana Waterpark

Dubbed the country’s “Second Fastest Rising Summer Destination,” Amana Waterpark houses the largest wave pool spanning up to 3,500 square meters. Aside from the “Tsunami wave,” the waterpark’s wave pool generates 13 other wave levels, there are 11 pools available to the public which range from kiddie pools to themed-pools.

There are also around 100 life-size statues of some of your favorite tv and movie characters scattered around the premises.

2. Splash Island

Inflatables, ATV, paintball attractions, and more await those who visit Splash Island, one of the longest-operating waterparks in the country.

Splash Island is best known for its safe and child-friendly attractions such as the Balsa River, Water Wahoo, Agos Grandes, and Big Bamboo.

Aside from its water wonders, the resort has on-site restaurants and food carts for patrons who want to fill their tummies with good grub.

3. Aqua Planet

As one of the newest waterparks in the country, Aqua Planet offers exhilarating water rides as well as more than 25 attractions such as the Boogie Bay, Super Bowl, Mermaid Bay, Lazy River, Flow Rider, Tornado, and Octopus Racer.

Guests will surely enjoy taking a dip at the resort’s wave pool. Various shops and dining venues are also available within the 10-hectare property.

4. Samba Bluewater Resort

With almost eight hectares of beach property, Samba Bluewater Resort is one of the biggest waterparks near Manila. Home to Asia’s biggest floating playground, the resort offers guests an opportunity to unleash the kid within.

Both kids and adults can enjoy the waterpark’s inflatable island. Well-kept accommodations, such as the Zamba Villa, Groupie Nipa Hut, and Family Beach House, are available for groups of any size.

At Aquaria, families and the young-at-heart can enjoy 525 meters of fine sand and a water park perfect for all ages. Located within Playa Calatagan, the mini tropical getaway is home to a kiddie swimming area, a three-story giant slide, cove pools and a sunken pool bar for adults.

If you get tired of the pools though, you can head over to the beach to swim, play or to simply relax. There are all sorts of activities to be enjoyed: beach volleyball, beach soccer, banana boat ride, kayaking, or riding a jet ski.

Situated inside Island Cove, Oceania Swim and Splash Park is home to a lagoon-shaped swimming pool, four giant fiberglass slides, and large inflatables.

The waterpark’s kiddie boating pool is the largest child-friendly splash park in the south of Manila. Guardians need not worry as there are several lifeguards stationed around and are licensed by the Philippine National Red Cross.

In addition, the resort features the Island Aviary, a peaceful sanctuary that houses various mammals and reptiles.
